August 2 (SeeNews) - The share indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) fell on Friday, as power transmission equipment manufacturer Dalekovod [ZSE:DLKV] paced the blue-chip losers, bourse data showed.
The company said on Tuesday it turned to a net profit of 36.7 million kuna in the first half of 2019, from a loss of 4 million kuna a year earlier.
Dalekovod closed 7.51% lower at 6.16 kuna.
Food, beverage and pharmaceutical producer Podravka [ZSE:PODR] led the blue-chip gainers, as its shares rose 0.48% to 415 kuna.
Podravka said last week its first-half consolidated net profit rose to 140 million kuna, from 120.7 million kuna in the like period last year.
Adris Grupa [ZSE:ADRS] generated the highest trading turnover among the blue-chip companies on Friday, of 2.5 million kuna, including a 2.1 million kuna block transaction. Adris's preferred ADRS2 shares closed at 467 kuna, up 0.43%, while the ordinary ADRS shares closed unchanged at 525 kuna.
Adris said last week its first-half consolidated net profit edged down 1% on the year to 181 million kuna.
ZSE's total trading turnover edged down to 8.3 million kuna ($1.2 million/1.1 million euro), from 8.6 million kuna on Thursday.
The 25-share benchmark index CROBEX dropped 0.37% to 1,904.28 after edging down 0.01% in the previous trading session.
The narrower of the ZSE's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, lost 0.24% to 1,106.21 after dropping 0.02% on Thursday.
The fixed-income CROBIS index edged down 0.02% to 116.1102.
