July 4 (SeeNews) - Croatian shipbuilding company Brodosplit said it has delivered a new three-mast sailboat - Klara - to its shipping company Brodosplit Plovidba.
The sailboat, which falls in the passenger boat category, will perform cruises in the Adriatic during the summer season, as it will pick up its first passengers on Saturday in Dubrovnik, Brodosplit said in an emailed statement on Wednesday.
Outside the tourist season, it will sail to the coast of Italy, Slovenia, Montenegro, Albania, Greece, as well as the Carribean.
The sailboat is 63.96 metres long, 10 metres wide and 5.35 metres tall. It is equipped with 18 luxury cabins that can accommodate 36 passengers and is serviced by a personnel of nine people.
In the last five years, Brodosplit has invested over 400 million kuna ($61 million/54.1 million euro) in its fleet.
