July 31 (SeeNews) - Croatia's Arena Hospitality Group [ZSE:ARNT] said on Wednesday its net loss narrowed to 8.8 million kuna ($1.3 million/1.2 million euro) in the first half of 2019, from 20.8 million kuna in the like period of last year.
The company's first-half operating revenue rose by 2.9% year-on-year to 265.8 million kuna, it said in an unaudited financial report filed with the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE).
Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) increased to 29.1 million kuna, from 24.3 million kuna in the first half of 2018.
Revenue from accommodation services rose 5% to 207.5 million kuna.
Arena Hospitality Group shares traded at 382 kuna by 11:58 CET on Wednesday on the ZSE, down 1.04%.
Arena Hospitality Group comprises seven hotels, four self-catering holiday apartment complexes, eight campsites and many food and beverage outlets. It owns, co-owns, leases or manages 15 hotels, four self-catering holiday apartment complexes and eight campsites.
