The Mercator sell-off has attracted one more binding bid alongside Agrokor's, Poslovni said.
In March, Poslovni reported that Agrokor and equity funds CVC Capital, Bain Capital and Mid Europa had all started due diligence at Mercator.
Based in Zagreb, Agrokor is the largest company in Croatia, with operations in food and beverages, as well as food retailing.
Mercator was trading down 6.58% at 103 euro by 1256 CET on the Ljubljana bourse on Monday.
