September 4 (SeeNews) - Croatian manufacturer of plastic components for the automotive industry AD Plastik [ZSE:ADPL] said on Wednesday it held 69,058 treasury shares as of September 4, representing 1.6444% of the issued share capital.
On September 2, the company purchased 1,300 of its own shares at a price of 168.7 kuna ($25.1/22.8 euro) apiece, and the next day it bought a further 700 own shares at 170.2 kuna each, AD Plastik said in a filing with the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE).
AD Plastik's shares closed flat at 171 kuna on Wednesday, after gaining 0.59% a day earlier.
The company said on Tuesday it has signed 46.5 million euro ($51.3 million) worth of car parts supply deals in Russia with the Renault-Nissan-AvtoVAZ Alliance for the Lada Granta model and for the Renault Logan and Sandero models, and with Volkswagen for the VW Tarek and Skoda Karoq models.
Local media reported last week that AD Plastik is looking to employ an additional 150 workers in its plant in Croatia's Zagreb by the end of the year, in order to facilitate the launch of serial production of components for Renault Clio 5 and Ford Puma.
