November 23 (SeeNews) - The main share indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) declined on Tuesday, dragged down by losses in ICT solutions provider Ericsson Nikola Tesla [ZSE:ERNT] and shipping company Atlantska Plovidba [ZSE:ATPL], bourse data showed.
The ZSE's blue-chip 21-share benchmark CROBEX finished at 1,996.59 points, down 0.58% from Monday.
The narrower of the ZSE's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the top 10 Crobex components in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, fell 0.31% to finish at 1,225.06 points.
Hotel operator Valamar Riviera [ZSE:RIVP] generated the biggest daily turnover, of 1.1 million kuna ($165,000/146,000 euro). Its shares closed flat at 32 kuna, after the company said that its supervisory board approved а capital increase by 11.07 million euro ($12.4 million) of its Austrian subsidiary, to be used to acquire a four-star hotel in Austria which will be the second hotel run by Valamar in the Alpine country.
Ericsson Nikola Tesla's shares fell 2.49% to close at 1,760 kuna in a turnover of 518,000 kuna.
Atlantska Plovidba's shares shed 3.15% to end at 400 kuna in a turnover of 261,000 kuna on Tuesday, following a surge of 8.68% on Monday and a 6.74% rise on Friday.
The ZSE's total turnover edged up to 5.3 million kuna on Tuesday from 5.1 million kuna on Monday.
