July 16 (SeeNews) - Croatia's anti-trust regulator AZTN said it has approved the acquisition of part of gas trader Crodux Plin's business by the Croatian unit of Slovenia's Petrol.
As part of the acquisition, Zagreb-based Petrol is taking over Crodux Plin's liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) business, including LPG retailer Adria-Plin, which is active in the Split-Dalmatia country, AZTN said in a statement on Monday.

Wholesaler and retailer of petroleum products Crodux Derivati Dva is not part of the deal, the statement added.
Crodux Derivati Dva, formerly known as OMV Hrvatska, was part of Austria's OMV group. In 2013, it was taken over by Crodux Plin Group.
AZTN also said that following the takeover, Petrol will have a share of less than 20% on the LPG retail market in Croatia.
Oil and gas company INA controls almost 60% of the country's LPG storage capacities.
