April 22 (SeeNews) - The total net assets of Croatian pension funds reached 139.8 billion kuna ($19.9 billion/18.5 billion euro) at the end of March, up 6.9% year-on-year, data by the country's financial regulator, Hanfa, showed.
On a monthly comparison base, the net assets of Croatian pension funds were 1.6% higher at the end of March, according to figures released by Hanfa this week.
The Adriatic country of some 3.89 million people had 2.1 million members of its 12 mandatory pension funds in March, as well as 357,470 members of its eight open-end voluntary pension funds and 46,022 members of its 20 closed-end voluntary pension funds.
