- Representatives of Croatia's Hypo Alpe-Adria Bank and authorities of the town of Umag signed an agreement for a credit line of 5.0 million kuna to improve tourist capacities in the Umag area.
- The Croatian Railways Holding plans to invest 1.626 billion kuna next year. Despite having recorded a loss of 30 million kuna in the first nine months this year, the management hopes to end the year with a minimal loss.
