January 5 (SeeNews) - The Sarajevo Municipal Court has launched a procedure for the potential opening of bankruptcy proceedings against Bosnian construction company ZGP [SAJ:ZGPSR], local media reported.
The court appointed Besim Hamidovic interim bankruptcy administrator, news provider Biznis Info reported earlier this week.
The procedure was opened at the request of company employees after a series of ungrounded dismissals. Furthermore, the employees claim that the bank account of the company has been blocked for over a year because ZGP has not settled taxes and obligations for more than five years, according to Biznis.
The company booked a net loss of 66,425 marka ($36,067/33,963 euro) in 2021, after recording a net profit of 52,917 marka the year before.
ZGP's shares last traded on the Sarajevo Stock Exchange on October 13, when they closed flat at 2.28 marka.
