September 23 (SeeNews) - Cosmetics producer Bulgarian Rose [BUL:ROZA] reported a sales revenue of over 2.4 million levs ($1.4 million/1.2 million euro) for the first eight months of 2021, meeting its sales forecast of 2.38 million levs for the period.
Bulgarian Rose booked a preliminary gross profit of 328,000 levs in the January-August period of 2021, the company said in a bourse filing earlier this week.
September sales are projected at 310,000 levs, which would take sales in the first nine months to about 2.7 million levs, the company said.
Karlovo-based Bulgarian Rose, established in 1948, manufactures cosmetic products for face, body, and hair using rose oil and locally-grown herbs. The company is part of local industrial group Stara Planina Hold [BUL:SPH].
