March 29 (SeeNews) - The Romanian unit of French credit insurance agency Coface said on Wednesday it will open an IT development centre in Bucharest in early April.
The centre will employ 80 people and will allow the company to make better use of its expertise, Coface Romania said in a press release.
"Creating the new IT development centre based in Bucharest is part of our strategic plan to become the most agile global commercial credit partner in the industry," the company added.
Coface is present in Romania since 1996 and is a member of Coface Central Europe Holding based in Austria.
It employs some 70 people in its three regional centers - in Bucharest, in the western city of Timisoara and in Cluj-Napoca, northwestern Romania.
At a group level, Coface is present directly or via strategic partnerships in 100 countries, with the ability to provide cover for its clients in approximately 200 countries.
