LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), February 20 (SeeNews) – The benchmark share index of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) fell on Thursday, as shares of chemicals producer Cinkarna Celje [LJE:CICG] posted the biggest losses among the blue-chip companies, bourse data showed.
The blue-chip SBITOP index, which tracks the most liquid and capitalised stocks on the LJSE, ended Thursday's session 0.22% lower at 981.75 points.
Cinkarna Celje's shares lost 2.27%, falling to 193.5 euro.
Hand tools manufacturer Unior [LJSE:UKIG] posted the biggest gains among the blue chips on Thursday. The company's shares closed 2.74% higher at 15.0 euro.
Fuel retailer Petrol [LJE:PETG] contributed the largest portion of Thursday's trading turnover on the LJSE – 882,300 euro. The bourse's total regulated market turnover rose to 2.0 million euro ($2.2 million) from 1.3 million euro on Wednesday.
