July 16 (SeeNews) - CEZ Distribution Bulgaria [BUL:3CZ], a subsidiary of Czech power utility CEZ, said on Monday that it has signed three power cable supply deals worth a total of 8.6 million levs ($5.1 million/4.4 million euro) with local manufacturer Elkabel.
The deals were signed on June 27 and envisage supply of different types of power cables, CEZ Distribution Bulgaria said in a procurement notice.
CEZ Distribution Bulgaria operates the distribution grid on an area of 40,000 sq km in northern and northwestern Bulgaria, including the Sofia region.
Burgas-based Elkabel specialises in the production of power cables, telecommunication cables and bare stranded conductors.
