December 16 (SeeNews) - CEZ Distribution Bulgaria [BUL:3CZ], majority-owned by Czech power utility group CEZ, said on Monday it has signed a 39.0 million levs ($22.2 million/20.0 million euro) contract with local company Engineering for supply of power meter boxes.
The deal was signed on December 2, CEZ Distribution Bulgaria said in a notice.
Under the terms of the contract, Engineering will be responsible for the delivery of 149,580 electricity meter boxes for direct metering for CEZ Distribution Bulgaria units located in Sofia, Vratsa, Levski and Dupnitsa.
A total of three participants submitted bids in the public procurement procedure for awarding the contract.
Plovdiv-based Engineering is a wholly-owned unit of Bulgarian cable and wire supplier Filkab, according to commercial register data.
