SOFIA (Bulgaria), December 21 (SeeNews) – Central Cooperative Bank [BUL:4CF] was the top blue-chip gainer on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange on Thursday, bourse data showed.
Central Cooperative Bank closed 3.07% higher at 1.68 levs ($1.02/0.86 euro) in a trading turnover of 11,843 shares.
The BSE's blue-chip SOFIX index rose 0.30% to 665.76 points on Thursday after edging up by 0.15% on Wednesday.
The broader BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the BSE, added 0.38% to 130.25 points, after increasing 0.28% on Wednesday.
The BG-REIT index, which tracks the performance of real estate investment trusts, fell 0.05% to 114.26 points on Thursday. On Wednesday, the index closed 0.13% lower.
The BG TotalReturn30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, added 0.14% to 549.40 points, following a 0.36% increase on Wednesday.
Total turnover on BSE's regulated market fell to 2.2 million levs on Thursday from 2.4 million levs on Wednesday.
Software developer Sirma Group Holding [BUL:SKK] was the most traded blue chip on Thursday, as 167,467 of its shares changed hands at an average price of 1.064 levs apiece.
Industrial Holding Bulgaria [BUL:4ID] fell the most among blue chips, closing 2.89% lower at 0.942 levs.
