December 7 (SeeNews) - The Romanian subsidiary of French retailer Carrefour said on Friday it has opened two new hypermarkets - in the cities of Satu Mare and Baia Mare.
The stores have an area of 7,500 sq m each and 250 employees in total, Carrefour said in a press release.

The two units will offer some 55,000 products for sale, of which 3,000 are Carrefour's own brand, as well as 1,000 free parking spaces.
The two openings take the total numbers of Carrefour hypermarkets in the country to 35.
France's Carrefour has been present in Romania since 2001.
In July 2017, Carrefour become majority shareholder of Romanian home delivery company Bringo Magazin SRL.
