November 30 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian cardboard packaging and cigarette filter producer Yuri Gagarin [BUL:YGAG] said that it booked a consolidated net profit of 898,000 levs ($517,830/459,140 euro) in January-September 2021, compared to a net loss of 770,000 levs in the same period of last year, on the back of higher revenue.
The company booked a revenue of 98.6 million levs in the first nine months of this year, up from 85.9 million levs in the comparable period of 2020, it said in an interim financial statement on Monday.
Yuri Gagarin's operating expenses amounted to 97.7 million levs in the review period, up from 86.6 million levs in January-September 2020, as the cost of goods sold and materials increased.
On Tuesday, shares in Yuri Gagarin closed flat at 7 levs on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange.
Yuri Gagarin manufactures multi-colour printed packaging and labels of cardboard and paper for the cigarette, food, cosmetics and other industries.
