October 8 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria’s electricity production fell by an annual 2.04% to 33,526 GWh in the January 1 - October 6 period of 2019, according to data from the country's Electricity System Operator (ESO).
Electricity exports decreased 18.52% to 4,582 GWh in the period under review, data from ESO's weekly bulletin showed.
Domestic power consumption added 1.21% to 28,943 GWh.
The volume of renewable energy in the transmission system edged down 0.48% year-on-year to 934 GWh, while the volume of renewable energy in the distribution system rose by 12.19% year-on-year to 1,467 GWh.
