January 29 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian thermal power plant (TPP) Varna said on Thursday that it has launched a tender for awarding a 3 million levs ($1.7 million/1.5 million euro) contract for supply and installation of new flue pipes for its units 4, 5 and 6.
The purpose of the new flue pipes will be to lower the power consumption of the three units and increase their efficiency, TPP Varna said in a statement.
The deadline for submitting offers is February 27.
Bids will be ranked solely based on price.
TPP Varna has six units of 210 MW each, of which only three are operational.
