February 12 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian state-owned thermal power plant (TPP) Maritsa Iztok 2 said on Friday that it has signed an 11.8 million levs ($7.3 million/6 million euro) contract for replacing part of its insulation with local company Peshtostroy.
The contract was signed on February 5, TPP Maritsa Iztok 2 said in a notice to the public procurement agency.
The tender for the contract attracted two valid offers.
TPP Maritsa Iztok 2 has eight operating units with a total installed capacity of 1,620 MW.
