April 23 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian state-owned thermal power plant (TPP) Maritsa Iztok 2 said on Thursday that it has signed a 10 million levs ($5.6 million/5.1 million euro) deal with a local tie-up for the reconstruction of the dust preparation system of one of its boilers.
The tie-up comprises local companies Rudin and Energy Max, TPP Maritsa Iztok 2 said in a notice.
The contract was signed on April 9.
The tie-up submitted the sole offer in the tender for the contract.
TPP Maritsa Iztok 2 has eight operating units with a total installed capacity of 1,620 MW.
