February 20 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian state-owned thermal power plant (TPP) Maritsa Iztok 2 said that it has launched a 217,400 levs ($126,000/111,100 euro) tender for repair of the rotor of its turbo generator 7.
The repairs will have a one-year warranty period, TPP Maritsa Iztok 2 said in a tender notice on Monday.
The deadline for submitting offers is March 14.
Bids will be ranked solely based on price.
Earlier this month, TPP Maritsa Iztok 2 said that it has ranked first an 89,000 levs offer from Energoremont Galabovo in a tender for repair of the rotor of its turbo generator 8.
Last year, local Atomenergoremont completed the repair of TPP Maritsa Iztok 2's turbo generator 6 rotor.
Maritsa Iztok 2 has eight operating units with a total installed capacity of 1,620 MW.
