June 12 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's thermal power plant (TPP) Maritsa Iztok 2 said on Wednesday that it has launched a tender for a three-year natural disaster insurance contract worth an estimated 14.2 million levs ($8.2 million/7.3 million euro).
Candidates must prove that they have generated at least 14 million levs of gross written premiums from natural disaster insurance in the past three full financial years, state-owned TPP Maritsa Iztok 2 said in a tender notice.
The deadline for submitting offers is July 16.
Bids will be ranked solely based on price criteria.
TPP Maritsa Iztok 2 has eight operating units with a total installed capacity of 1,620 MW.
