December 12 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian drug maker Sopharma [BUL:3JR] said on Thursday that it repurchased 84,168 own shares at a weighted average price per share of 3.45 levs ($1.96/1.76 euro) on December 11.
The shares represent 0.0624% of Sopharma's capital, the pharmaceuticals manufacturer said in a bourse filing.
Following the transaction, Sopharma holds 8,991,000 own shares, or 6.67% of its own capital.
Sopharma's five-year share repurchase programme, launched in February 2018, targets up to 10% of the drug maker's share capital.
As at 9:45 CET on Thursday, Sopharma shares traded 0.29% lower at 3.44 levs on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange.
