December 2 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian drug maker Sopharma [BUL:SFA] said on Thursday that it repurchased 2.6 million of its own shares on December 1.
Sopharma bought back the shares, representing 1.9288% of its capital, for a total of 11.1 million levs ($6.4 million/5.7 million euro) on the floor of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE), the company said in a bourse filing.
Following the deal, the number of own shares repurchased by Sopharma so far stands at 12,911,467, representing 9.578% of the company's capital, according to the filing.
As at 12:55 CET on Thursday, shares in Sopharma traded 0.91% lower at 4.34 levs on the floor of the BSE.
