February 28 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian pawnshop chain operator Sofia Commerce-Pawn Brokerage [BUL:6SOB] said on Friday that its consolidated net profit doubled to 2.0 million levs ($1.1 million/1.0 million euro) in 2019.
The revenue of Sofia Commerce-Pawn Brokerage increased to 6.8 million levs last year from 6.5 million levs in 2018, it said in an annual financial statement.
At the same time, the company lowered its expenses to 4.6 million levs from 5.4 million levs, as it booked no depreciation costs for assets and provisions last year.
As at 1410 CET on Friday, Sofia Commerce-Pawn Brokerage shares traded 0.83% lower at 5.95 levs on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange.
Sofia Commerce-Pawn Brokerage operates a chain of over 100 pawnshops in Bulgaria, employing around 150 people.
