July 15 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's Silistra water utility said on Wednesday it has signed a 1.4 million levs ($819,000/715,800 euro) deal with a local tie-up for the development and installation of geographic information system (GIS).
The deal with the tie-up comprising local companies Geographica, ESRI-Bulgaria and IT Flight was inked on July 7 and benefits from EU financing under operational programme Environment 2015-20120, the contracting authority said in a notice.
According to registry agency data, Geographica holds 50% in the awarded tie-up, while ESRI-Bulgaria and IT Flight control 40% and 10%, respectively.
The tie-up submitted the sole offer in the public procurement procedure for the contract. Price and quality criteria carried equal weights in the overall ranking of the offer.
Sofia-based Geographica, established in 2008, specialises in the provision of GIS and spatial solutions, according to its website.
