January 2 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria’s electricity production fell by an annual 5.17% to 43,884 GWh in the January 1 - December 29 period of 2019, according to data from the country's Electricity System Operator (ESO).
Domestic power consumption dropped 1.07% to 38,029 GWh, data from ESO's weekly bulletin showed.
Electricity exports decreased 25.38% to 5,815 GWh in the period under review.
The volume of renewable energy in the transmission system fell 0.50% year-on-year to 1,191 GWh, while the volume of renewable energy in the distribution system rose by 9.89% year-on-year to 1,810 GWh.
