SOFIA (Bulgaria), May 7 (SeeNews) – Radio and TV transmission provider NURTS Bulgaria said its non-consolidated net profit rose to 2.99 million levs ($2.0 million/1.53 million euro) in the first quarter of the year from 1.67 million levs a year earlier.
The company’s non-consolidated revenues increased to 13.5 million levs in the January-March period from 12.6 million levs in the first quarter of 2012, NURTS Bulgaria said in a statement filed with the Bulgarian Stock Exchange last week.
With more than 700 transmission sites across Bulgaria, NURTS provides a range of media distribution services to national and international broadcasters and programmers. As of 2006, the company provided digital terrestrial broadcasting for test purposes (DVB-T) on the territory of Sofia and as of 2010 it was airing DVB-T across the country.
