November 23 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian cosmetics company Noesis raised 235,000 euro ($242,356) in a funding round led by local investment firm ImPulse I [BUL:IMP], the investor said on Tuesday.
As part of the round, ImPulse I injected 100,000 euro in the startup through its ImVenture II fund, ImPulse I said in a bourse filing on Tuesday. The investment was made in the form of a convertible loan.
Other participants in the funding round were New Vision Fund 3 and CEO Angels Club.
Founded in 2020, Noesis is an export-oriented cosmetics company with its own factory in the Bulgarian city of Plovdiv. It is developing and manufacturing product lines based on innovative formulations.
ImPulse I has recently also participated in the capital increase of Bulgarian ReBeneFit, investing 307,000 euro in the cloud-based employee benefits management platform. Overall, ReBeneFit collected 1.167 million euro in the cap hike.
ImPulse I has invested in a number of companies traded on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange, including Telelink Business Services Group [BUL:TBS], Speedy [BUL:SPDY], Telematic Interactive Bulgaria [BUL:TIB] and Smart Organic [BUL:SO] among others. Through its funds ImVenture I and ImVenture II, the company invests in unlisted startups and more developed firms.
