November 28 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian car battery maker MonBat [BUL:5MB] said on Monday its consolidated net profit rose to 18.9 million levs ($10.2 million/9.7 million euro) in the first nine months, from 17.5 million levs in the corresponding period of last year.
Sales revenue for the January-September period increased to 179 million levs from 176.9 million levs, the company said in an interim financial report filed with the Sofia bourse.

Materials costs also increased, to 122.5 million levs from 107.5 million levs.
The company’s operating profit grew to 23.4 million levs from 21.4 million levs in the January-September period of last year.
