February 19 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's Momchilgrad, in southern part of the country, said on Wednesday it has awarded a contract worth some 1.2 million levs ($662,800/613,600 euro), VAT excluded, to local electricity provider EVN Bulgaria Elektrosnabdiavane.
The deal was signed on February 14, the municipality said in a notice.
The contractor will be responsible for the supply of an estimated 5,700 MWh of power over a period of five years.
EVN Bulgaria Elektrosnabdiavane has submitted the sole offer in the public procurement procedure for awarding the contract.
EVN Bulgaria Elektrosnabdiavane, based in Bulgaria's second largest city of Plovdiv, is part of Austrian energy group EVN.
