January 28 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's industrial producer price index (PPI) increased by 30.8% in 2021, mainly due to a 79.7% increase in the utilities sub-indicator, the National Statistical Institute (NSI) said on Friday.
On the domestic market, the industrial PPI went up by 38.6%, while on the non-domestic market it rose 18.7% in 2021, the NSI said in a statement.
On a monthly comparison basis, industrial producer prices grew by 1.7% in December, after increasing by 5.8% in November.
On the domestic market, the industrial PPI added 3.4% on a monthly comparison basis in December, while on the non-domestic market it decreased by 1.2% month-on-month.
