January 22 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian machine engineering company Hydraulic Elements and Systems (HES) [BUL:4HE] said that its sales edged up by an annual 0.26% to 61.75 million levs ($35 million/31.6 million euro) in 2019, following sales of 3.25 million levs in December alone.
The company's preliminary gross profit dropped by an annual 16.96% to 4.83 million levs last year, HES said in a bourse filing on Wednesday.
In 2020, HES expecs its net sales to fall by an annual 12% to some 54 million levs.
Sales in January 2020 are projected at 5.4 million levs, sharply down from the company's previously reported sales of 6.6 million levs in January 2019.
HES is part of blue-chip industrial group Stara Planina Hold [BUL:5SR].
