January 18 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian poultry producer Gradus [BUL:GR6] repurchased 18,776 own shares at an average price of 1.50 levs ($0.83 /0.77 euro) apiece on January 17, the company said on Wednesday.
Thus, the total number of own shares held by Gradus by January 17 amounted to 18,776, corresponding to 0.008% of voting rights, it said in a bourse filing.
Gradus said earlier in January that its board of directors approved the start of a share buyback programme targeting up to 3% of the company's equity capital. Under the programme, the firm aims to repurchase up to 7,308,261 own shares.
As at 0917 CET on Wednesday, shares in Gradus traded flat at 1.50 levs on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange.
