April 2 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian state-owned Electricity System Operator (ESO) said on Thursday that it has awarded a local tie-up with a 3.8 million levs ($2.1 million/2.0 million euro) contract for the construction of Ihtiman substation, in the western part of Bulgaria.
The deal with the tie-up, led by electric services provider Elektrolux-Tabakov&Sons, was signed on March 18, ESO said in a notice.
According to registry agency data, Elektrolux-Tabakov&Sons controls 90% in the awarded tie-up, while local Streza has 10%.
Under the terms of the deal, the contractor will be responsible for the construction of a new 110/20 kV substation in the village of Vetrino and for the supply of necessary materials and equipment.
ESO has received four offers in the public procurement procedure for awarding the contract.
