July 21 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian car battery manufacturer Elhim Iskra [BUL:ELHM] booked a preliminary profit of 966,000 levs ($581,600/493,900 euro) on revenue of over 19 million levs in the first six months of 2021, it said.
In June 2021 alone, the company posted a preliminary profit of 436,000 levs and revenue of 4 million levs, the company said in a bourse filing on Tuesday.

Elhim Iskra posted a preliminary loss of 686,000 levs on revenue of 14.6 million levs in the first half of 2020, according to previously disclosed data.
The car battery manufacturer expects to report revenue of 3.6 million levs for July, it said in the filing.
Elhim Iskra is part of local blue-chip diversified group Stara Planina Hold [BUL:SPH]. The Pazardzhik-based company exports over 90% of its output.
