October 29 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's electricity production rose by 16.6% year-on-year in August, reaching 3,861 GWh, the National Statistical Institute (NSI) said on Friday.
The country's output of oil products increased to 531,000 tonnes in August, compared with 398,000 tonnes in the same month of last year, the statistical office said in a statement.
Electricity deliveries added 7.8% on an annual comparison basis in August, reaching 2,748 GWh, while deliveries of oil products edged down to 404,000 tonnes, from 409,000 tonnes a year earlier.
