April 5 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian financial leasing company Elana Agrocredit [BUL:EAC] said on Tuesday that it will put to a vote by its shareholders a proposal to distribute a total dividend of 2.45 million levs ($1.37 million/1.25 million euro) for 2021, which represents 5% less than the shareholder payout a year earlier.
The proposal also involves setting aside 10% of the company's net profit of 2.72 million levs into a reserve fund, Elana Agrocredit said in a stock exchange filing.

Elana Agrocredit last year distributed a total of 2.58 million levs, or 0.0708 levs per share, as dividend for 2020.
Shareholders in the company will vote on the dividend proposal at a general meeting scheduled for May 19.
In 2022, Elana Agrocredit's net profit slipped around 6% from the 2.9 million levs booked in 2020.
Shares in the agricultural land lessor were trading flat at 1.07 levs apiece on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange as at 1303 CEST.
