January 21 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian financial leasing company Elana Agrocredit [BUL:0EA] said on Thursday that it signed deals to finance purchases of agricultural land worth some 569,900 levs ($353,900/291,400 euro) in December, down 1% on an annual comparison basis.
Elana Agrocredit has financed the purchase of 46.7 ha of land in the last month of 2020, compared to 67.8 ha in the same month of 2019, the company said in a monthly bulletin.
The financial leasing company is typically financing 80% of the value of the deals.
Elana Agrocredit posted a net profit of 2.5 million levs in the first nine months of 2020, unchanged in comparison with the profit achieved in the same period of 2019, according to the company's latest interim financial statement.
