January 23 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria-based IT and BPO services provider Bulpros said it is acquiring local company Beam - an integrator of SAP business management solutions, for an undisclosed sum.
Through the deal, Bulpros will enhance its technical expertise in the area of consulting, implementation and maintenance of SAP systems, the company said in a statement earlier this week.

The addition of SAP expertise is of strategic importance for Bulpros as it complements the portfolio of digital solutions offerings for corporate clients in the company's core markets.
"The Bulpros deal allows us to move to the next stage in the development of our company and the first positive results are already a fact. Due to the similarities in the culture of the companies, the bonding between the teams happened extremely fast," Ivan Kiurkchiev, partner in Beam, said in the statement.
"The focus is on the overall digitalization of the business and the enhancement of customer experience by building intelligent and innovative technological solutions," Ivaylo Slavov, CEO of Bulpros, added.
Beam is the sixth company to become a part of the Bulpros Group since it was founded in 2010. So far Beam and Bulpros have worked together on projects in the financial sector and their merger is a natural development of their partnership, Bulpros said.
Bulpros has a wide range of competencies in various areas with focus on financial services and insurance, professional services and telecommunications. The company operates on a global scale and has more than 1300 employees, working across 20 offices in Europe and North America.
Beam, founded in 2014, offers consulting, integration and maintenance of SAP business management systems. The company has a number of successful projects in the automotive and manufacturing industries as well as retail.
