November 14 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's real economy expanded by 1.7% on the year in the third quarter of 2023, the statistical office said on Tuesday, revising upwards by 0.1 percentage point to 2.0% its estimate for yearly gross domestic product (GDP) growth in the previous quarter.
In the three months to end-September, Bulgaria's GDP increased by 0.4%, or at the same rate as in the second quarter of this year, the National Statistical Institute (NSI) said in a flash estimate, citing seasonally-adjusted estimates.
Bulgaria's third-quarter GDP amounted to some 47.7 billion levs ($26.1 billion/24.4 billion euro) at current prices.
