SOFIA (Bulgaria), February 13 (SeeNews) – Bulgarian resort operator Albena [BUL:6AB] plans to open on June 1 next year a 40 million lev ($28 million/20.5 million euro) hotel complex in Kavarna, on the northern Black Sea coast, the municipality of Kavarna said.
The five-star complex will have 1,200 beds, a football pitch, a swimming pool and three tennis courts, as well as restaurants and a parking area, the municipal authorities said in a statement on Wednesday.
The project will create 150 jobs.
Albena has entered into a partnership with unnamed tourist company to attract tourist from Scandinavia for the new location, the statement added.
