May 23 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian farming group Agria Group Holding [BUL:A72] said on Thursday that its consolidated net profit shrank to 293,000 levs ($167,000/150,000 euro) in the first quarter of 2019 from 984,000 levs in the same period of last year.
Agria Group Holding's sales revenue increased to 43.2 million levs in the first three months of the year from 39.9 million levs in the comparable period of 2018, the company said in an interim financial statement.

The group's operating expenses rose to 41.8 million levs in the January-March period of 2019 from 38.3 million levs in the like period of 2018, mainly boosted by expenses for materials, which grew to 11.6 million levs in the review period from 7.4 million levs the year before.
Agria Group Holding's main clients include Glencore Grain, Cargill Bulgaria, Soufflet Negoce - France, ADM Bulgaria and others.
