September 16 (SeeNews) - New passenger car registrations in Bulgaria rose by 15.7% on the year to 17,594 units in the January-August period, the European Automobile Manufacturers Association, ACEA, said on Thursday.
In August alone, new passenger car registrations in Bulgaria edged down by an annual 0.7% to 1,905 units, ACEA said in a press release, citing provisional figures.

New passenger car registrations in the EU, excluding Malta, went up 11.2% year-on-year to 6.8 million units in the first eight months of 2021. In EU12, which encompasses member states that have joined the EU since 2004, new passenger car registrations increased by 14.9% to 828,619 units.
