October 7 (SeeNews) - All indices of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) closed lower on Thursday, with the blue-chip SOFIX index dropping the most, by 1.09% to 566.84 points, bourse data showed.
The drop in the SOFIX index was mostly due to a 3% decrease in the share price of IoT products maker Allterco [BUL:A4L], followed by a 2.80% decline in the shares of financial and insurance group Eurohold Bulgaria [BUL:EUBG].
A total of 18,233 shares in Allterco changed hands at an average price of 19.8411 levs on Thursday, while 1,186 Eurohold shares traded at an average price of 2.0800 levs on the floor of the Sofia bourse.
A 4.50% decrease in the share price of Stara Planina Hold [BUL:SPH] weighed on the BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the BSE, and the BGTR30 in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight. The BGBX40 erased 0.90% to 131.45 points, while the BGTR30 fell 0.44% to 644.33 points.
The BGREIT index, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, lost 0.27% to 159.94 points, due to a 1.37% decline in the share price of Bulgarian Real Estate Fund REIT [BUL:ATER].
Total turnover on the BSE's main market rose to 1.9 million levs ($1.1 million/971,500 euro) on Thursday from 1.0 million levs on Wednesday.
The most traded company on Thursday was heating utility Toplofikatsiya-Ruse [BUL:TPLR]. As many as 240,400 shares in the company changed hands at an average price of 3.12 levs, unchanged from the last close, contributing 750,000 levs of the turnover for the day.
