September 7 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian shares indices closed mostly lower on Friday amid a higher turnover after a national holiday, stock exchange data showed.
The blue-chip SOFIX index, which tracks the 15 most liquid and capitalised stocks on the BSE, ended the session 0.18% lower at 626.99 points.

Car battery maker Monbat [BUL:MONBAT] was the biggest blue-chip loser, shedding 3.23% to 7.5 levs amid a turnover of 20,916 levs.
Real estate investment trust Advance Terrafund [BUL:6A6] was the only blue-chip gainer, winning 1.48% to 2.06 levs in a volume of 50 shares.
Total trading turnover on the Sofia bourse rose to 1.177 million levs ($696,700/601,800 euro) on Friday from 209,000 levs on Wednesday.
The Bulgarian bourse was closed on Thursday, September 6 for Unification Day.
The wider BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, fell 0.32% to 121.46 points.
The BGREIT index, which tracks the performance of real estate investment trusts, ended up 0.28% at 117.19 points.
The BG TotalReturn30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, lost 0.18% to 518.03 points.
