September 12 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian employers expect hiring in the fourth quarter of 2017 to increase at the fastest pace in the last seven years, recruitment company ManpowerGroup Bulgaria said on Tuesday.
Employment outlook for the last three months of the year stands at 14%, up 3% compared to the prior-year period, the company said in the latest edition of the Manpower Employment Outlook Survey.
"The Bulgarian labor market continues to show stable growth with significant milestones over time such as the strongest hiring prospects in the last seven years and unemployment below 7 percent," Nadia Vassileva, managing director of ManpowerGroup Bulgaria said in the survey.
Employers from all five regions of Burgas, Plovdiv, Rousse, Sofia and Varna, who took part in the Manpower Employment Outlook Survey, report positive fourth-quarter hiring intentions. Among them the strongest hiring intentions are reported by employers in Plovdiv.
Hiring prospects improve in all ten industry sectors with employers in construction, mining and manufacturing reporting the strongest intentions to hire.
Staffing levels are expected to increase in all four organization size categories in the period October-December. Large employers report robust hiring intentions with an outlook of 32%, medium employers expect a steady hiring pace reporting an outlook of 13%, while outlooks for small and micro-size employers stand at 9% and 8%, respectively.
