SOFIA (Bulgaria), April 15 (SeeNews) – The share indices on the Bulgarian stock exchange ended mostly down on Tuesday, while daily turnover fell, bourse data indicated.
The blue-chip SOFIX index, which tracks the 15 most liquid shares on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE), decreased 0.5% to 595.21 points after falling 0.36% on Monday.
The broader BGBX40, which includes the 40 most traded shares, closed 0.41% lower at 120.53 points after a decrease of 0.26% in the previous session.
The Sofia bourse's total turnover on the regulated market fell to 1.1 million levs ($781,000/563,000 euro) from nearly 4.1 million levs the day before.
Fertiliser producer Neochim [BUL:3NB] was the top SOFIX gainer, closing 2.44% higher at 54.5 levs in a volume of 30 shares.
Hydraulic equipment manufacturer M+S Hydraulic [BUL:5MH] led the blue-chip decliners, ending 4.99% lower at 14.062 levs as 228 shares changed hands.
Meanwhile, the BG-REIT index, which tracks the performance of real estate investment trusts, increased 1.28% to 96.67 points after a decrease of 2.31% on Monday.
The BG TotalReturn30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, went down by 0.56% to 439.44 points after a drop of 0.15% in the previous session.
